The Famous Tamarind Tree (Imlee)

This is the famous tree that has been reported to have been watered by Sant Hari Dass Ji. The story is that Shri Guru Ravidass Ji use to sit under this tree, but over the centuries it dried away. When Sant Hari Dass Ji found this, he immediately started to water it and it came back to life and to this day a piece of history is being looked after by the sewaks (followers).

This is the Gate to the Palace of Raja Nagar Mall. It was at this place that Guru Ravidass Ji showed the true meaning of "Janjoo" where he struck his chest with a chisel and showed Raja Nagar Mall that he too possessed the Janjoo.s but they were within his body and soul and not like the Brahmins who wrapped string around their body to show their status as high caste hindu's.
